Mary Bonaccio

Director of Client Services, The Verdi Group

Mary loves helping non-profits achieve their goals. Whether they are in need of a new messaging strategy to planned giving prospects, a fine-tuning of their list segmentation approach, or a method to uncover donor gift intentions, she enjoys digging in to make meaningful improvements
that have real impact.

A direct marketer by profession (with market research as an early career),
Mary understands the power of communicating a single message with a clear call to action. “You must tell people what they should do, how they should do it, and what’s in it for them. Do all that at the right time, and you’ve hit the magic formula for success.”

Mary’s non-profit work has included ABVI-Goodwill, Early Childhood Development Initiative, National Kidney Foundation (Upstate NY),
Rochester Mentors, Stamford Museum & Nature Center, and Unity
Health. In the education sector, she has worked with Deerfield
Academy, Montessori School of Rochester, and Association
Montessori Internationale.

Mary’s MBA in Marketing is from Syracuse University.
